Best Valentines Day Ever

I really can't believe that it is a Sunday morning and I am awake already. Todd woke up around 6 to get ready for his Sunday meetings and I just couldn't go back to sleep. Maybe its because I'm pregnant and I had to get up and eat breakfast to satisfy my hunger pains. Or maybe its because I'm pregnant and I had to get up and go to the bathroom. Or MAYBE its because I have the most amazing husband and I was too excited to sleep!

I have spent the last two weeks in Dallas, Texas with my brother Derek, his wife Brianne, and their little boy, Easton. Brianne is pregnant and started having contractions pretty early on so she has been on bed rest and they needed a little extra help taking care of Easton. It was a great experience and I am so glad for the time I was able to spend with their family since I don't get to see them often. Brianne has now hit the 35 week mark which is such a blessing since they never thought they would make it that far. I will miss them!

Anyways, it wasn't that much fun being apart from Todd for two weeks, but the reunion was so much fun!! He was waiting for me at the airport when my plane arrived at 4 in the afternoon...with a beautiful bouquet of roses. We had decided to celebrate our Valentines day then since it just seemed more fitting. We drove home and Todd had totally decked out the house in Valentine decorations- Balloons, heart shaped boxes of chocolates, streamers, paper hearts, and candles! AND the house was spotless. What more could a girl ask for? Well, Todd went beyond the call of duty! He made me the most wonderful dinner with a menu consisting of King Crab legs, cheesy potatoes, salmon, cauliflower and cheese sauce, garlic bread, and sparkling grape juice! Mmm! He set the table all cute too and even played romantic music in the background.

How lucky am I? I just had to brag about my sweetheart for a moment because he really pampered me last night!! I am also grateful that it doesn't take a holiday for my sweetheart to let me know that he loves me. He definitely went all out for Valentines day, but his day-to-day actions always show me that he cares about me and he tells me like a hundred times a day that he loves me. I love you, Todd! Happy Valentines Day!

Here are some random pictures I just uploaded from my camera:

Me at 23 weeks. This is right before I left for Dallas. Two weeks later I still look the same!

Todd tried to fit in my suitcase...lol!

Derek and Easton playing in the snow. They had record breaking snowfall while I was there!

Me and Easton the morning that I left. He is either smiling so big because he got a good night's sleep or because he had a REALLY stinky diaper.

Yet another reunion at the airport! I feel like I am always leaving Todd behind and we have had this scene so many times...next time Todd is definitely coming with me!

Yay for chocolate and flowers! Todd spoiled me rotten!

And last but definitely not least...the amazing dinner Todd prepared for me! He did everything! I don't know how you will ever top this, babe!

Holy Cow, I think Baby E loves to jump around then or something because I am always waking up at 6 every morning (sometimes 7 if I'm lucky :) Anyways! I am so excited we are both having boys, we need to live a little closer and then we could do little projects together!

All I can say is "Wow!" I'm sure there is many a wife trying hard not to be jealous right now, and many a husband who wishes his wife hadn't seen this.

PS--Love the pictures!
