So we go to the studio and it was nothing special. The guy didn't really give us instructions of where to stand or anything and he kept trying to get Jett to smile but every time he tried he only scared Jett to tears! He finally got a stuffed animal and that got Jett in a happy mood but we were there for like 20 min and it was really nothing special. So when we were done we scheduled a time to come look at the pictures and he gave us a card with their prices on them. HA. The lowest price on that card was $95 for ONE 5x5! Really? In order to get a cd with all the pics we would have had to pay $300. It was such a waste of time. They don't even list their prices online and now I know why! So we came home and I got my low quality camera out for my own free photoshoot to remember the day!

Our "free" photoshoot
On Saturday we went to get our pictures taken at a portrait studio. A few weeks earlier I entered into this drawing to win a free session with a local photography studio and I got an email saying I had won a free $100 session as well as $50 credit. So we scheduled it and I didn't have high expectations since I knew they were going to try to get me to spend money but I thought that $50 credit would get me something right? Especially since Jett needed some pics taken!

These are the best I could do! LOL. Right now I am really missing Utah where all my photographer friends are!!
We also took a few pics of our Sunday. Here is Jett and I waiting to catch the bus to church (Todd did Jett's hair and he got a lot of compliments).
This is Jett's playmate at church. Her name is Callea (I'm not sure how its spelled). They are adorable together and she is only a month younger. They would rather play than sit still and listen in church. Oh and don't you love this little outdoor courtyard we have in the middle of our building?
Jett FINALLY fell asleep after all the meetings were over. It was a long day for all of us. :-)
