Not much news here! Hauni chopped off my hair yesterday! I haven't had my hair this length in a really long time! It will be much easier to take care of. Todd is at his meetings and he has a 12 page paper due tomorrow. I hope that he can somehow find time today to finish it! Oh the end of this semester can't come soon enough. Todd has been sick for the last week with a cold and I thought that I might be lucky enough not to catch it...I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick now though. This last week has been pretty hard on us! We've been SO busy with school stuff. On Friday I woke up to get ready for work and I felt everything start to spin! I threw up and realized that I couldn't move my head or my eyes because I would just start feeling so dizzy. Todd called a nurse and she said it was most likely a flu virus that was in my ear and was messing with my equilibrium. Needless to say, I had no problem staying in bed all day long!! I don't really want to get a cold now though!

Back in the Singles Ward...
I thought I would take this chance while Todd is busy with meetings to do a quick update. Life is busy, as always, but we are getting so excited for April and the end of this very long winter semester! Todd received a call to serve as second counselor in the BYU 51st ward and we have been there for about a month now. I feel a little young to be a "Sunday widow" but oh well! I can see how much growth will come from this calling and what a neat experience it will be- especially for Todd! Because of the time change, he had to get up extra early this morning to go to his meetings (6:30...which was really like 5:30). We meet for church in the JSB on campus at 10:20. I love the church time, but I'm still getting used to sitting at desks for sacrament meeting again! We love the ward! Everyone is just so friendly and we are quickly learning names.
Right now we are trying to find internships. Todd has an interview on Tuesday for a BYU rep position that would require him to travel around Utah and Idaho and speak in high schools about BYU. I think he would be perfect for that job! We are looking forward to going to California in May for Brett and Amy's wedding! They are such a great couple and it is going to be so much fun being with everyone! I'm sorry that we are such poor bloggers! Someday I will be better about updating this thing! Love you all!

The month of January!
Well this month has flown by! Todd and I have been keeping busy. We are in full swing with school now and have our first test this week. We are taking an online accounting class so hopefully that goes well. Todd is still working as a publicity writer for the Performing Arts Management at BYU and gets tickets to all of the fun events at BYU. We saw the Dance Company last friday and will be going to see the young ambassadors perform this coming friday. I work in Special Collections in the library for the curator of the Photographic Archives. As you can see from the picture, we had quite the time shoveling our driveway/sidewalk when we came back from Christmas break. We had so much ice on our driveway! It was good exercise!
ARIZONA- Earlier this month I got to fly to Arizona and have a girls weekend with Meg, Hauni, and my mom! It was so nice to get away from the cold. In our short stay we were able to go see the Lion King, do a temple session, attend a fireside by Elder Bednar, get together with some family, and go bike riding. Thanks so much Meg for all of your planning! It was a fun weekend!

An update

Hello everybody! I just wanted to do a quick update because we never post anything! We are both going to school this semester and working so we keep pretty busy. We are excited that we both have only ONE year left at BYU...and then we will move somewhere (Who knows where!) and Todd will get a masters in communications. Todd is excited about a new season of LOST and I am trying to convince myself to get back outside (brrr...) and start running again. These are the only images I have readily available...so enjoy! Oh, and Happy Valentines Day if I don't blog before then :-)

A New Beginning
I was devastated! All of our pictures, documents, music, and some little movies we made were there one moment and then completely gone the next! I started bawling in the Mac store and the guy that was helping us started to get emotional too! He kept saying, "Please, don't cry" and then wiping his own eyes. He was awesome. He helped us get a new hard drive, installed it for us, and then downloaded a newer version of mac software for us...and only charged us for the hard drive. The new software has a built in program called "Time Machine" that backs up our documents automatically. All we need to get is an external hard drive. We will be needing that!! We will not make the same mistake twice!
This picture was one of the few I had on my camera (I just downloaded a ton of photos before this ordeal and then deleted them off my camera). We had our first snow last week and it was beautiful for the hours that it lasted! I love it when there is a fresh sheet of snow on the ground! It just feels so NEW and FRESH. I guess thats how we are feeling about our computer now! We have to start over with pictures and downloading all of our programs! I know that I am going to spend a lot more time blogging now! I've learned my lesson!
Todd here, now, and I just wanted to say that I am so glad Christianne put at least some pictures on our blog and on Facebook! It really was a terrible day. But things are getting better. We have a nasty two weeks of school ahead of us and we are hoping we make it till Thanksgiving! Things should be a bit easier then. That is...until we have to study for finals! Other than that, Christianne has been teaching me how to play Sudoku. I stink. It takes me a half hour to do an "easy" one, while she gets done with it in a matter of minutes. I'm so glad I married such a smart girl!

There's No Place Like Home
Welcome! We decided that it is finally time to post pictures of the place we now call home. We finally got rid of all of the boxes and have furniture! Yay! I can't even remember how many carloads it took to get everything into this house. I don't think we will be moving for awhile.
Our living room. Susan gave us the chair when she was getting ready to move. Lucky for us, we found a cheap brand new couch that matched the chair perfectly at RC Willy. It was in the clearance section, and a guy from our ward who was working there gave us an even greater discount. It was meant to be.
Todd's office and our laundry room. The little love seat on the right is what we were using for a couch for a while in our living room. We bought it for 35 bucks at a yard sale.
The tiny kitchen. There isn't very much counter space, but we are used to it. Our kitchen color is red. Everything is red. Even the microwave. We have had fun experimenting with new recipes and coming up with meals. We eat a lot of pasta.
We don't have a dishwasher, so we have fun washing dishes together after every meal. The scissors that are sitting on the counter are used primary for cutting off the tops of otter pops. We have almost consumed two entire boxes since we have been married.
Todd brought me a flower on his way home from work the other day. He is so sweet! I love him more and more everyday. Even though we are pretty busy with work these days, it is always nice to come home and relax with each other. We are best friends, and Todd can always make me laugh.
We recently got to babysit Max while Aaron and Hauni went on a date. He is so cute! We had fun taking him to the park and playing with him in our house. He knows Todd's name, and calls me "Pretty" or "kiss", meaning "chris".
Mmmm...we love pizza! We made this chicken/pineapple one together. It was lots of fun!
